Challenge 75
Seventy-five days, October to Christmas. The rules are soft. Missing two days in a row isn't.
You've probably heard of 75 Hard. Two workouts a day, one of them outside, a gallon of water, ten pages, a strict diet, a progress photo, and back to day one the moment you slip. Fine if your life is built around it. Mine has a job, an MBA and a sub-20 5K in it already.
So this is the soft version. Small daily habits, done every day, for seventy-five days. It runs right alongside the sub-20 chase, and it ends on Christmas Day, which is either very good planning or very bad planning.
The rules
- Move every day. A run, a session in the garage, a proper walk with Bernard. MBA residential weekends get some slack on this one, and only this one.
- Read every day. An actual book.
- Drink the water. Two litres.
- No booze. Seventy-five days of it.
- Never miss two days in a row. The one rule that matters. Miss a day and the next one isn't optional. There's no going back to day one, because that's how these things die.
Who's counting
Ted. The AI coach counts the days in every morning briefing and checks the exercise against what's logged. Reading and water rely on me telling him, which he's noticed. How it's actually going turns up in the Splits.
