Pardo Games
The side quest. Three browser games, all in beta.
While the Sub-20 chase carries on, I have been building games with Claude on the side. They run in the browser, they are free, and there are no accounts to make. They are betas, so expect rough edges, and tell me what you find.
Want the story behind them? Read how they got made.
- Little Generals Toy armies. Real physics. Turn-based toy soldier battles across six rooms of one family's house, from a Roman villa to today's living room. Every shot is a real pea, apple or foam dart. Men topple, cannons kick, and the house joins in. Play the computer, or send a friend an invite link. Best on a phone held sideways, a tablet, or a laptop. First load is about 25 MB.
- Bangers Revenge Rubbish cars. Real potholes. A kart racer in the SNES style, starring rubbish 90s British cars on potholed roads. Career mode, championships, online rooms with friends, and split screen on one TV with everyone's phone as the controller. Works on a phone, tablet or laptop. For split screen, open it on the big screen and scan the code.
- Little Wars Multiplayer squad combat for your phone. Now with Office Mode. Born from a WhatsApp message after game night: a multiplayer squad game with grenades, rockets and the computer for company, or a mate on their own phone. Switch on Office Mode and bullets become verbal assaults, grenades become slop grenades, and rockets become unsolicited calendar requests. Nobody dies. You just burn out. Built for phones first. Best played against a friend, both on your phones.
